Both at the Burch’s home and at his restaurant, Morataya has created his own success story from scratch. And in October this year, Morataya will be signing up a new concept known as Nihi Sumba Island, a resort owned by Chris Burch in Indonesia. He argues that despite his ability to access modern technology, he likes to limit its applicability. Chris Burch is the CEO and Founder of the Burch Creative Capital. He is an active investor, an entrepreneur with his investments projects running through a range of industries. He has in the past contributed heavily to the development of various firms and luxury brands. These brands include Voss Water, Poppin, and Faena Hotel. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Continuum group.

Mr. Burch entrepreneurial success started while he was still in college. Together with his brother Bob, they began an Eagle Eye apparel with $2,000. With time, they were able to grow the value of this business to $165 million before selling it to the Swire Group.
